Scouts wanting a Board of Review for Rank Advancement (Tenderfoot-Life ranks) need to follow these steps:
  1. Contact their Patrol Leader and tell them that they need a Board of Review. The Patrol Leaders will bring these names to the PLC and a list for the month will be made and give to Mr. Fountain (Scout Master) and Mr. Herman (Advancement Chair).
  2. The Scout wanting a Board of Review will come to the Review in full uniform, with their Scout Book that is signed and a Rank Advancement Form filled out.
  3. The Advancement Chair will arrange a date for the Board of Reviews and have available the Individual Scout History Report for the Board to make sure the Scout is eligible for the Rank Advancement.
We have had several scouts get a Board of Review for their Rank Advancement and when entering the information into TroopMaster found the scout NOT ELIGIBLE for the advancement. Hopefully by knowing ahead of time and having a Scout History Report this will not happen in the future.

Scouts wanting an Eagle Board of Review must contact the Troop's Eagle Board of Review Chairman to schedule a review. The Eagle Board of Review Chairman can direct the scout on the complete steps/process to obtaining the Eagle rank.
